About

Patti Thompson

Patti was a midwife for 37 years, training in Vancouver through the apprenticeship model with doctors and midwives and holistic practitioners. She is experienced in complimentary therapies, and focused on preventative health care for pregnant and birthing women, and newborn babies, when she was a midwife.   Because of her empirical training, her philosophy of caring has evolved through responding to the needs of the many families she cared for.  She supports people to create a beautiful, healthy, and powerful life.  Patti has one daughter and one son, and three grandchildren.  She is a visual artist, designer, permaculture practitioner, enjoys outdoor activities, and is especially fond of West Coast surfing and wild swimming.
